How do you recycle your electrical and electronic equipment?

Electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) must not be disposed of with household waste. Electrical and electronic equipment may contain hazardous substances which, if exposed, can have serious adverse effects on the environment, animals and health.

Products that must not be disposed of with household waste are marked with this icon:

If you wish to recycle electrical or electronic equipment, we recommend that you:

  1. Take the item to an authorized recycling collection point. Click here for more information on collection points in France.
  2. Participate in national recycling campaigns.
  3. Donate the unwanted functional item to charity.
